Group Description

Welcome to London Board Games Club. We play board games face-to-face, games like Imperial, 7 Wonders, Railroad Tycoon, Dominion, Perikles, Fury Of Dracula, Apocalypse (LBGC Houserules), RoboRally (LBGC team version), Game Of Thrones, Carcassonne, Republic of Rome, Settlers of Catan, Cosmic Encounter, King Of Tokyo, Werewolf, Torres, Puerto Rico, Bang!, Shadowhunters, Formula De, and so on. Plus inventing games and playtesting each other's game ideas.

Club started 2002 and going well in 2014.
New members welcome, so long as you remember that we all play for fun, and you never get annoyed. High skill, but not taking it too seriously.
Membership and attendance all free.

The venue is in Ealing, West London (UK). So far, it's at my home (I have a spacious home with a room or two away from our children). Get the actual address, and get on the invitation-list for dates, by emailing me. .

We meet about 2 or 3 Sundays a month. We start at 2.30 and finish around 7.30, so players can still go off to an evening commitment afterwards. We also meet up on occasional Tues or Thur evenings here or at an Ealing pub..Being face-to-face players, we don't use the website much at all beyond flagging our existence to newcomers. You can also check us out in more detail at our other website ... lbgclub followed by .ning followed by .com (not sure they'd let through an actual link here ....

Interested? Email me, bobroscow at my gmail.com address. I'm sure you can work that out! That strange way of giving you my email address, and not offering a link, is to avoid spam-trawlers. Someone reported that the yahoo button "Join this group" didn't work (it said page unavailable?), so best is to email me by simple email, bobroscow at my gmail.com address.
